Middle of summer in Southport England, freezing and windy :(
18th – 19th July 2015
Newcastleton, Scotland to Southport, England
We reluctantly left Sandy & Campbell’s this morning after
being treated to a great Scottish breakfast. We headed back down South and
spent a couple of days in Southport in an old Hotel that was probably stunning
in it’s day.
There were lot’s of English holiday makers around but unfortunately
no Summer weather for them to enjoy.

Princess of Wales Hotel, probably
really beautiful in it’s time but a bit tied now.
Expensive fish and chips (double the
prices for Aussie $)
Southport Pier.
Playing the amusement machines so we
could stay in the warm.
