Oxford to Congleton
We had a bit of a treat to look forward to this morning, it was like an Edithburgh / Coobowie reunion! We got to have a cup of tea with Peter & Pam and
Doug & Carol who arrived in the UK yesterday. Thanks to Carol’s sister & brother-in-law
for not only a great cup of tea but a piece of award winning cake :)
The weather was a bit ordinary but not to bad. What was bad was the coffee we had at a Macca’s
along the way. It was the worst coffee I
have ever had and I left my full cup on the table, not like me at all, YUCKY! To make the things worse , the reason
we stopped at Macca’s was for the Wi-fi which you can only get if you have a UK
mobile number, not a happy camper. Things looked up in Congleton where we found a
great, reasonably priced pub room and had a huge feed of Indian.
It was great catching up. :)

Maybe it has
something to do with being right next to these things. Give me wind farms any day.
