Lavaur to Massiac
Today has been a rather peaceful slow paced day. It started early (above photo) once again and we enjoyed
some nice curvy (as opposed to windy) secondary roads that had the usual beautiful
southern France scenery. The temperature
stayed quite mild until about midday when it appeared to sky rocket, although that could have just been me. Either way we
are making good time to get to Calais on our designated day so we stopped in
Massiac and have enjoyed good hospitality from the locals and another lovely
meal.
Breakfast stop, okay it was actually
a coffee stop but we hadn't had breakfast.
On the go.
Lunch location. Lunch was suppose to be a snack but we ended
up with great steak, salad & chips for 7.50 Euro each.
No photo of dinner but it was a
lovely three course meal for 15 Euro each.
No wonder my bike pants are getting smaller. I love France :)
