Check out our map to the tip.
The weather is over cast but thankfully the rain
is holding off and we are still getting those patches of blue. Our accommodation was in a great location and
the staff were friendly and it was cheap,
well cheap for the region anyway. That’s
about the only good things I can say about it.
It was so small we couldn't both stand up in there at the same
time. To be fair though they did warn us
when we booked it.

Conon Bridge to Durness via John O Groats & Dunnet Head
What a great ride! We
made it up to John O Groats at the same time as a group of guys in fancy dress
riding postie bikes :) We then continued on to Dunnet Head which the most northerly point of
mainland Britain. The scenery on the way
up and across to Durness was wonderful and we had to change GoPro and camera
batteries several times.
We stopped for a nice cup of tea
along the way.
John O Groats with some larikin
blokes on postie bikes.
SS Mk II and Maurice posing at the
top of Scotland.
And a selfie at the top.
On the Go’s
Durness.
Our digs and the view from the
bunkhouse.
