Coquelles, France to Oxford, England
We are up early and ready to get the train to the UK. We are so early that when we get to the check
in booth the girl offers to put us on an earlier train, bonus!
We are keen to get to Oxford early so we can find our digs
and empty the bike ready for its service on Tuesday.
The reality of being in
the UK hits home as soon as we stop at a petrol station, we are faced with a
bill about double of what we having been paying in Europe! The accommodation is
another shock we have gone from paying an average of 60 euro for decent rooms
to a really average room with a shared bathroom
for 66 pounds (about 99 euro). Oh well it’s still better than being on the
couch at home :)
