Porto Covo to Sagres
I know it looks like we are having a good day every day but
some are better than others and the last two days have been great. Starting with a really nice breakfast in
Porto Covo and then a short ride through some beautiful coastal towns. Then we arrived in Sagres where we found a
really good room in a fantastic spot with a view that anybody would love, especially
Jenni C. It didn't take long to decide
to stay for two nights.
Not sure if I'm in the Mediterranean or the Atlantic, either way, it's bloody cold.
Yep. you guessed it "boy these would make good Emu rocks, I wonder how I can get them home or to Switzerland".
Sagres, or more specifically the lighthouse, is the most
South Westerly point of mainland Europe.
Faro de Cabo de San Vicente translate to The
lighthouse Cape Saint Vincent. For those of you who don’t know we live near a
lighthouse which is located on the Gulf
of Saint Vincent. Well I thought it was interesting :)
“On the go” through some great
little towns and Sheep Shunter II even went on dirt roads, but the scenery was definitely
worth it.
Our balcony from the beach.
And in between relaxing it’s
a great spot to walk on the beach and take a look at some historical sites like the fort and the
lighthouse.

Can guess what Maurice is thinking?
