Llanes to Vigo
Yesterdays plan was,
well we didn’t really have one. Just get a bit further than 96kms and we
succeeded, 511kms .
There is nothing quite like a warm, clear sunny day in Spain
and yesterday was nothing like it!
The day started out okay, we had decided to do some motorway
kilometres to get some distance on the clock and the motorway runs along the
coast anyway. The benefit of the
motorway is they are so incredibly high up you get good views into the valleys
and a good appreciation of the lush green fields contrasting with the rich
browns of the soil. That is of course
until the weather gets so bad you can’t see the road in front of you let alone any scenery :(
The day did get better and by the time we reached Vigo it was
actually getting quite warm again. Vigo is a reasonably large Port city and we
decided to spend another day here admiring the city’s architecture and some
interesting art pieces.
The Spaniards don’t seem to get up early so it is easy to
get some peaceful pictures of the towns early in the morning. (Llanes)
Can you see it? |
Now you see the view.
Now you don’t.
