Trip to Munich, Germany

A trip to Munich for a Pork Knuckle and a Beer at the Hofbrauhaus has become a bit of a tradition when we visit.  Thanks to Walter, Imelda, Barbarella, and Shimi for babysitting. The four of us were able to spend a great night out.

Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

A weekend with Karin & the kids.  Starting with breakfast cooked by Adriana & Samuel and an afternoon at the Chur exhibition looking at all the “Swiss Quality” products.

Then a day with the family Grünenfelder.

A great way to start the day :)

Bad Ragaz to Lucerne, Switzerland

Today we rode to Lucerne for an overnight stay and to meet up with Maurice’s niece Ruth and her husband Noel from Victoria.  They are on a bus tour of Europe and it is great to meet up with them especially as we don’t get to see them in Australia very often.

Our hotel for the night.  It was a prison up until 1998 and I think the beds are the same one’s the prisoners used!

1^st-2^nd September 2015

Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

Just being here is great, it is such a gorgeous village and even a walk to the supermarket is enjoyable!  There is small lake only a few minutes away and we all took a walk there. It is one of the areas for the Art show with some very interesting sculptures. Our walk took in some of the golf course and other areas of the village.  We also had to stop off for a refreshing beverage at the Schloss Hotel before taking in more of the art. 

The swan is real but luckily the                                                                                                                 blue sheep aren't.
