Malta, Austria to Porec, Croatia via Italy & Slovenia.
After saying goodbye to Ros, John and a Motley crew of Englishmen we set out for Porec via Italy & the awesome mountain scenery of Slovenia. This wasn't the original plan but we are now meeting up with Stefan, Karin and the kids for a quick visit in a few days so we are relaxing in Beautiful (cheap) Croatia.
These guys were great company and a great source of entertainment for two nights.

It may have been a full days ride but Porec turned out to be worth the effort.
The dog looked very relaxed, I wonder what they are selling in that shop?

Our last day in Porec has been pretty quiet especially after spending quarter of our daily budget at the Post Office! In the majority of places we have been so far, every thing has been super cheap, but as soon as you want to post any thing home the cheap little thing you picked up becomes expensive. Today's effort for a tiny box was $46! :(
Anyway enough bitching.
The weather is still pretty good, the scenery is still beautiful and we are still here to enjoy it :)
So we were enjoying a nice cup of coffee when this big seagull decided to join us on the ledge. He realised that he wasn't getting anything from us so he moved up a couple of tables where he pinched a whole Schnitzel off someone's plate and flew of with it, so funny :)
That obviously wasn't enough for him because he then took off in a hurry and thirty seconds later, landed this good sized squid! Very amusing when the squid squirted him.
Fastest I have ever seen a squid gutted.
